MLK Elementary Celebrates September Students of the Month

On Sept. 30, Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary celebrated its latest Students of the Month during a special assembly centered on the character trait of the month: Teamwork.

Through our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program, students spent the month learning what it means to collaborate, support one another and work as a team. Teachers across the building selected individual honorees, highlighting the inspiring ways these students demonstrate teamwork every day.
