The Force Behind Student Success: Lisa Hyatt

The Force Behind Student Success: Lisa Hyatt

Some people just naturally become the go-to person in a building, and at Watson Williams, that’s Lisa Hyatt. Whether it’s helping students or staff, she’s always there and ready to jump in without hesitation. Her door is open, her guidance is steady and her impact is felt across the entire school community.

Mrs. Hyatt is known for going above and beyond, especially when it comes to students who need a little extra support. She creates a safe, welcoming space where they can regroup and feel supported. At the same time, staff regularly turn to her for help with IST, RTI and CSE referrals, knowing she’ll walk them through it with patience and clarity. No matter how busy she is, she never turns anyone away.

In her role as AIS facilitator, Mrs. Hyatt keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes, organizing testing materials and coordinating assessments for students with IEPs with high attention to detail. She’s also deeply involved with students outside the classroom as the science club facilitator. Mrs. Hyatt leads hands-on activities like catapults, Lego coding and robotics. It’s just another way she helps spark curiosity and connection.

Having spent most of her 17 years in the district at Watson Williams, Mrs. Hyatt brings experience and heart to everything she does. Thank you, Mrs. Hyatt, for being such an important part of the Watson Williams community and for all the ways you show up each day.
