In celebration of Manufacturing Month, a group of Proctor High School students visited Indium Corporation, a global materials manufacturer and supplier located right here in the Mohawk Valley.

Indium Corporation is an industry leader specializing in electronics, semiconductors, and thermal management materials used around the world. During the visit students had the opportunity to explore the company’s advanced production processes and learn directly from professionals working in the field. The experience provided a real-world connection to what students will be studying in the Advanced Manufacturing Pathway, including robotics, automation and mechatronics.

This hands-on experience not only highlighted local career opportunities in manufacturing but also inspired students to consider future careers in this innovative and evolving industry.
